Solar Bear approached me with a script and an early draft of a set design for The Assumption. They were looking ideas for a print campaign and a potential animated social campaign. After reading through the text I identified a number of visual reference points that I thought could be tied together with a collage aesthetic. The client decided to run with it and I went ahead with a design that drew on redacted documents, a manor house that twists uncannily, alongside a version of the Titian painting the play was based on, manipulated to imply a character who is silenced and breaking down.
